On January 22 & 23, 2019, the FNQLSDI, Indigenous Services Canada (ISC) and Natural Resources Canada (NRCan) offered a workshop on the Strategic Partnerships initiative – Forest Full Value. This Initiative aims to allow First Nations to benefit from the emerging economic opportunities in Quebec’s forest bioeconomy.
The objectives of the two-day event were:
- Present the Strategic Partnerships initiative (SPI) – Forest Full Value ;
- Present and identify First Nations initiatives in forest bioeconomy;
- Examine the governance and the axes of intervention of the SPI – Forest Full Value;
- Discuss the next steps to come.
